Putting the FUN back in FUNdamentals. Every sport starts with them so why not have a great time learning them? The basic skills don’t have to be boring. Learn all the foundations required for many of the popular canine sports and life! In this class we will teach the following foundational skills required for almost all dog sports: - Reward markers - Food and toy reinforcement / play - Starting and ending routines - Initial steps for heeling, fronts and finishes - Pivots, platforms, targets - Bing bowl (starting remote reinforcement) This class is appropriate for any canine 6 months+ and any skill level of handler. We will cover all of the concepts needed to train a performance canine, regardless of their future sport. We emphasize relationship and helping your canine develop an optimistic attitude about training. *This is a recommended pre-requisite for our Competition Obedience, Gun Dog Foundations, and Rally-O classes.
